Everything
started when I moved to Germany and I had to find a way to keep my
hands busy while watching TV (my first attempt to learn a new
language).
In
a lonely and almost forgotten basket there was a knit-it set I had
bought in Antwerp, with a wonderful book on how to knit cute animals
that my lovely husband had given me for my birthday. So, I decided to
give knitting a try and to start creating my own knit animals. My
adventure began and I just realized after a couple tries that the
animal I had chosen was the most difficult one in the whole book. My
bad! I never read the instructions before starting anything my wish
brings me to do... same thing with baking and all the other things I
do. But this doesn't stop me from keeping on trying until I obtain
the result I want.
I
love working with my hands and experimenting different forms of art;
therefore, I let my curiosity lead me to use new materials, like
modeling paste, and my passion for drawing gave me the push to start
decorating white porcelain.
I've
always loved drawing, but there was a period in which I wasn't able
to put any of my ideas on paper and that was very frustrating.
Finally, after a course I attended on how to create a comic book and
give life to a story one has in mind, my creativity came back and for
two years I've been trying to draw everyday or simply create whatever
my inspiration suggests me to do.
